Messaging Terms of Service

Effective date: October 9, 2026

These terms govern Wit's business photo messaging program for registered client contacts. Wit operates the program; Twilio provides messaging delivery services. This page is Wit's policy, not a Twilio endorsement or a replacement for Twilio's own terms.

Your choice

Photo reminders require your express opt-in.

Message frequency

Typically two reminders per month, plus messages related to your submissions.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Message and data rates may apply.

1. What the program is for

Wit helps participating businesses collect job-site and business photos for review and possible use on their Google Business Profiles. Messages may include photo requests, consent confirmations, receipt acknowledgments and questions needed to identify the correct business location. This is not an emergency service or a general-purpose messaging service.

2. Registration and consent

Your mobile number must be registered by the business or its account manager before you can use the program. Registration alone does not authorize recurring photo reminders. To receive them, reply YES to Wit's opt-in invitation. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

You must be authorized to use the mobile number and submit photos for the business. Sending a photo does not itself enroll you in recurring reminders. If your number changes or is reassigned, notify your account manager so the old number can be removed.

3. Frequency and charges

Photo reminders are typically sent twice per month. Message frequency varies with the business's configured schedule and your interaction with the program. Consent confirmations, photo acknowledgments and location clarification messages may add to that frequency.

Message and data rates may apply to messages you send or receive, including MMS photo uploads. Consult your wireless provider about your plan and charges.

4. Opting out and getting support

Reply STOP to the number that messages you to unsubscribe from the messaging program. A final opt-out confirmation may be delivered by the messaging provider. Further photo submissions do not cancel your opt-out or restart reminders. To request re-enrollment, reply START; recurring reminders also depend on your account's reminder settings.

For help, consent questions, removal of your registered number or a concern about a submitted photo, contact the Wit account manager who invited you through your existing business contact channel. Do not use this number for urgent requests.

5. Location identification

The program uses a shared messaging number. If you represent multiple locations, include the location's name or agreed code name with your photos. If the destination is unclear, we may ask which location the photos are for. Photos must be matched to a location before they can enter its review process.

6. Your photos and permission to use them

Submit only photos you own or have permission to share and publish, including any necessary permission from identifiable people, property owners and customers. Avoid photos showing private documents, access codes, financial information, sensitive personal information or anything you do not want publicly visible.

You retain ownership of your photos. By submitting them, you grant Wit and the business you represent a non-exclusive permission to receive, store, resize, review and, if approved, publish them for that business's profile and associated marketing services. Submission does not guarantee publication. If a photo is published to Google, it is subject to Google's policies and may remain available there independently of Wit's copy.

7. Acceptable use

Do not send unlawful, abusive, threatening, sexually exploitative, deceptive or infringing content; spam; malware; or material that violates another person's privacy. Do not impersonate a registered contact, attempt to access another business's submissions or use the program for unrelated solicitations. Wit may reject content or suspend access for misuse.

8. Messaging privacy

The program uses registered contact information, phone numbers, consent records, message content, delivery information, submitted photos and location identifiers to operate photo intake, manage consent, provide support and review content for the represented business.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers needed to deliver and operate the messaging program, such as Twilio.

Authorized staff and the business you represent may review submitted photos and related location information. Approved photos may become public when published to Google. Do not submit confidential material. For privacy questions or a deletion request, contact your Wit account manager; removal from Google or other third-party services is subject to their separate processes and policies.

9. Delivery and third-party services

Message delivery depends on Twilio, wireless carriers and network availability. Delivery can be delayed or unsuccessful; neither Wit nor wireless carriers guarantee delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wit may change or discontinue the program, subject to applicable law and your consent choices.

Twilio's Terms of Service, Messaging Policy and Acceptable Use Policy govern Wit's use of Twilio's services. Your wireless provider's terms also apply to your mobile service.

10. Updates and questions

Updates to these terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes to the purpose of messaging require appropriate notice and, where required, renewed consent. These messaging terms supplement, rather than replace, your business's agreement with Wit.

Questions about this program should be directed to the Wit account manager who registered your business or invited you to participate.
